Collection: Jeans

  • Fabric: Jeans are most commonly made from denim—a twilled cotton fabric woven with indigo-dyed yarn. Other fabric types like non-stretch cotton, corduroy, or even blends are sometimes used.

  • Fit Styles: Jeans come in various cuts and fits, with some of the most common being:

    • Straight-leg: Consistent width from hip to ankle.
    • Skinny: Fitted through the entire leg.
    • Bootcut: Slight flare starting at the knee to accommodate boots.
    • Relaxed/Loose: Offers a more comfortable, looser fit.
    • Tapered: Narrower at the ankle than the thigh.
  • Rise: Refers to the distance between the crotch and waistband. The three main types are:

    • Low-rise: Sits below the waist.
    • Mid-rise: Sits at or just below the waist.
    • High-rise: Sits above the waist.
  • Washes and Colors:

    • Light wash: Lighter in color, often faded or distressed.
    • Dark wash: Richer, deeper indigo with minimal distressing.
    • Raw denim: Unwashed denim that fades and softens over time with wear.
    • Acid wash/Distressed: Processed to create a worn-in, faded look with potential fraying or rips.
